Hello, my name is Brian Murray and I am the owner/operator of SCISSOREDGE,  offering premier scissor sharpening to hair salons and barbers around the  Greater Brisbane Area.

At SCISSOREDGE I sharpen hairdressing scissors using a purpose built sharpening machine developed in Australia and made in Japan. I have had expert training in using the scissor sharpener and have refined my skills and techniques over the last 6 years.

I pride myself in doing the best sharpening job for my clients at the lowest possible price as a professional sharpener.

As well as sharpening, SCISSOREDGE supplies some of the most popular brands of scissors, such as Sharpline, Kasho, Wasabi, Jaguar, WAHL, DH, Silk to name a few. The prices for the scissors I carry range from as low as $50 (Barbers or 1st and 2nd Year Apprentices), up to $2,000 for master stylists looking for the ultimate in scissor technology.
